Once upon a time, there was a farmer who had a big hen. This big hen laid eggs for the farmer everyday and the farmer ate the hen’s eggs everyday. This morning the farmer came again. He got the eggs from the nest happily. “Great. Two big eggs. I like to eat eggs.” said the farmer.

“Oh, no. They’re my eggs. You can not eat my eggs.” said the hen angrily. The next day, the farmer came into the hen house. He looked for eggs under the hen but he couldn’t get any eggs. “What? No eggs! It wastes my time to feed you. I will have to eat you up.” said the farmer. The hen heard what the farmer said and she was so worry. “Oh! My god. The farmer is going to kill me. I do not want to be kilt. I really enjoy my life. How can I do?” the hen cried sadly. The farmer decided to eat the hen. He went to get a big pot quickly and prepared to cook the hen in it. The hen went back to her nest. She sat on the nest and said to herself. “ I must try my best to lay many eggs so that the farmer will change his mind. Cluck, cluck, cluck. At this moment, the farmer came back with the big pot. The hen felt scare when she saw the big pot. “ I do not want to go into the pot. Help! Help!” “It’s no use to cried.” said the farmer. 我听了一直不信，这回非要亲自去上她的课。第一天上课时她就穿一身灰：灰大衣就像斗篷，灰帽子上还有几个褶，就像扬州灌汤包，穿着一双灰靴子，还戴着一副细边眼镜。如果再加上银白的胡子，那就是魔法学校的。校长阿不思。登不利多了！

一上课，我就领略到英语曹的特点了。她上课从不是等学生举手再点名回答的。在她的课上回答问题从不用举手，要么直接站起来，要么就是“地毯式”提问，她的手挥到哪一排，那一整排的学生就是一个紧接一个机关枪扫射似得迅速回答，常常头一个还没说完，后一个都蹦起来了。没跟上的则站着再说一遍。大家一站一起，像在玩“打地鼠”一样，掀起一层波浪。这样就像铺地毯一样，哪个角落的学生回答不上？这样精神高度紧张，学生哪有走神的时间。既能让每个人都回答，又加快回答的时间，充大一节课的容量。能不一下上完三节课吗？

英语曹除了课上得快，记单词也快。她常常用谐音或小故事来记。像国籍这个单词，被她用谐音记成“奶昔奶利提”她说这像一种糖的名字，我们对甜食感兴趣就会记得快。比如“通常”这个词她是这样记的“usua”就是“有儿有女”，因为这个人既生男孩又女孩，所以后面“lly”就是他高兴笑得直打嗝。有时她为了让我们记忆深刻，让我们边做动作边记，她自己甚至会在讲台上挑起舞来。经过她这样声情并茂的记法，记单词果然不费事了。

她不仅教得快，且风趣幽默，语言丰富。她看有的同学并不认真学，就用满口的淮南方言说：“你们要是不学，为什么还交钱来上课？就像你去买菜，你对卖菜的说只把钱扔给他，不拿走菜，根本不管菜一样，傻不傻”。同学们听了都笑了。

In the afternoon, I often go to some clubs, like Singing Club and Drawing Club. I can learn a lot and make many friends there. At four in the afternoon, I go home. I do my homework as soon as I get home. It usually takes me about one hour to finish my homework. After that, I often play basketball with my friends. I usually have dinner at six. 看到别的同学都在上英语班，我觉得我的英语也不能比（虎知道★www.huzhidao.com）别人差呀，于是我也报了英语班。

去年下半年，我报了一个英语班，就在师大清洁队的小二层楼上，我上的是三年级班，我四年级的几个朋友也在那上四年级班。上了一学期，觉得不过瘾。

我这学期跟着好朋友，到他上的英语班去听了一节课。这个英语班叫“加特英语”，去了才发现还有我的两个好朋友也在那里上。老师也是位女老师。班里用的是《新概念英语》（青少版），老师完全用英语讲课，还讲音标。由于是插班，虽然有的听不太懂，但才听了一节课，我就喜欢上了这个英语班。

这个英语班课堂气氛很活跃，很好玩，而且学音标能让我们学起单词的发音来更容易、更标准。现在我遇到不认识的单词能大概拼着读出来了呢！

课堂上还有小活动，不过每节课都不一样，有时候是翻图片得分，有时候是吹瓶子上的扑克，还有时候是白板上画的猫抓老鼠……总而言之，花样层出不穷。

这个英语班每个班不超过十名学生，是因为有的同学不来了，我才插班进来，加上我才九名学生。每个星期上两次课，周四17：00——18：30；周六18：30——20：30。课前课后还有一对一的检查与辅导，没课的日子还会有电话辅导。老师还会给我们发背书奖卡和纪律奖卡，奖卡可以换一些小奖品，如英语本、铅芯等。

加特英语的目标是让学生在听、说、读、写、唱及情景故事的趣味课堂教学中做到学以致用，彻底告别哑巴英语，提高学生的综合能力。

上了几次课，爸爸说我的英语有了明显的进步，我还要继续努力哟，把他们以前学的我还要补上，争取获得更加优异的成绩。
